What is collected
When you book a consultation: your name, phone number and email address, the birth date, time and place of the person the consultation is for, and any note you add. When you sign in with Google: your name and email address. When you use the free kundli and matching tools: the birth details you enter. When you visit the website: the pages viewed, the type of device, and the website or campaign that referred you.
How it is used
To arrange and hold consultations, to take payments and issue invoices, to send booking-related messages, to provide the free tools, and to understand how the website is used.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s page and are handled by Razorpay under its own policies. Astro Aastha receives the payment status, amount and method.
Service providers
Personal data is processed by the service providers that run this website: Supabase (database), Netlify (hosting), Razorpay (payments), Resend (email), Google (sign-in), and a third-party service that calculates birth charts from the birth details entered. Personal data is not sold.
Your browser
Your sign-in session, booking references and the charts you make with the free tools may be stored in your own browser. The website does not use advertising cookies.
Retention
Personal data is kept for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and for as long as required by law, for example for tax and accounting records.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to us through the Contact page. Records that the law requires to be kept will be retained.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
Children
Consultations are booked by adults. Details of a minor are collected only when a parent or guardian provides them for a consultation.

This policy may be updated at any time. The version published on this page applies.
